Marc Dion is a name to be reckoned with in the world of carp. Here he is with a client at the private lake of Le Fief d'Allard in the Vendée department of the Pays de la Loire. Marc is a passionate fisherman and friendly host. He is eager to welcome guests from every corner of the world, whether they be expert or complete beginner, adult or child.

Marc and his family have been developing this fishing 'fiefdom' over the last few years and they now have a wonderful farmhouse restored to its former glory. There's four large bedroooms and lots of space inside and out.

Clients come to fish at the lake with its superb amenities: pontoons, holding tanks, chill fridges with bait. But the Dions have a river running through their extensive grounds too.

And as if fishing heaven hadn't been already achieved, Marc can lay on boat trips out on the Atlantic. Clients will more than likely pause at La Rochelle for restoration.
