This old farmhouse has been beautifully restored but keeps a cottagey feel with exposed stone walls and wooden beams.

From the tiny hamlet you enter straight into the snug, very well-equipped kitchen/dining room (with original bread oven), up a few steps to the sitting room with wood-burner and leather sofas and beyond this to the spacious terrace with that view… shared by all but one of the bedrooms – the other has the best bathroom (all are very good and modern). Attractive rooms come with pine, fine linen and net drapes.

The pool is prettily enclosed, the large park/orchard has a trampoline, and a hammock to lounge in – listening to birdsong. A Michelin-starred restaurant, great cycling, walking and vineyards on the doorstep.
