TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Advertising and Commission
Home from Home Locations Limited (‘HfH’) take 5% commission for reservations, with no VAT charged. HfH prepare a description and photographs of the Owner’s property on the HfH website. Once HfH have received the Owner’s approval, the entry is advertised and maintained. HfH handle booking enquiries and liaise with the Owner on availability.
HfH can also provide a website entry only service for £95 which allows prospective tenants to contact the Owner direct.
Owners are free to advertise their property simultaneously elsewhere.
Owners must ensure they have copyright over their text description initially forwarded and copyright over their photographs.
HfH cannot accept legal responsibility for accuracy of website entries.
Payment
Tenants pay the Owner direct and HfH’s invoiced commission becomes payable monthly from the date of entry on the contract.
Commission must be paid into the HfH bank account in sterling.
In the event of the rental contract being terminated, the commission due will cease from the month of rental termination.
In the event of rental contract extension, commission must be paid on extensions.
Tenancy
HfH like happy owners and happy tenants and make every effort to find suitable matches in the commission, bespoke service.
The Owner must ensure that the rental property meets all legal regulations for rental properties in France, including safety features and maintenance certificates, particularly relating to swimming pools, chimneys, log burners and smoke detectors.
HfH source tenants only and do not participate in property maintenance or rental agreements, though we can recommend the legal contract required depending on length of let. Any rental agreement is exclusively between the tenant and the Owner.
We do not provide a reference checking service.
Access, keyholding, inventory and maintenance of the rental property are arranged by the Owner.
Queries and complaints are resolved by the Owner. HfH has no legal responsibility should a rental dispute arise.
